HIGHWAYS
- Approved widening of Highway 4 from Bailey to Railroad Avenue & Highway 4 West to Hercules, 1997 &

- Approved first phase of the Highway 4 Bypass, 1998
OPPORTUNITY
- Helped keep the Antioch Auto Center dealerships in town, 2003
- Helped secure approvals for Delta & Deer Valley Business Parks, 2004
- Voted to help Ritter Manufacturing, keeping 111 jobs in town, 1997
- Helped develop the 1996 Antioch Economic Development Plan

- Helped fight the extension of Mello-Roos taxes, saving taxpayers $19 million, 2008
- Helped lead the effort to stop the waste of $1 million of Antioch taxpayer money on the ballpark in
Pittsburg, 2005
- Led effort to contract out park maintenance saving $300,000/year, 1997
- Helped fight and defeat the Indian casino in Antioch
- Helped develop and voted to place Antioch’s growth limiting advisory Measure U on the ballot, passed
by 69% of voters, 1998
- Volunteer, Yes on Measure K - growth control initiative, 2005
EDUCATION
- Voted to fund Antioch Library to be open 12 more hours per week
- Voted to fund police officers on Antioch school campuses
OTHER
- Approved $30,000 for new Babe Ruth Fields
- Approved funding for fields at Antioch Youth Sports Complex on Wilbur
- Led the effort for the year-long 125th Anniversary Celebration, 1997
- Approved murals on 2nd Street and 4th & G Streets, 1997 & 1998
- Approved public art - bears and arches on Hillcrest
- Vote to appoint first African American to the Planning Commission, 1998
